Marc Jacobs is one of the key figures of NYFW in my opinion. His designs are always right up my street and his work at Louis Vuitton is legendary! This season was a mix of all sort: Mad Hatter like hats, Captain Hook like buckled shoes, and clothing which had a very much Mary Poppins-esque feel to them. The hats in themselves were out of this world, the fur was amazing and gave a whole new feel to each outfit. The dresses were wide at the hips and cut off below the knee giving a very mature look. Although, the big thing for me were the shoes! The bulky and rather masculine type shoes were transformed into elegant footwear with flower decorations and sparkling crystals.
After just seeing the Jeremy Scott collection there will definitely be a post about that collection tomorrow! Its amazing!
